Not sure what to say?

Joan was a good friend so many years ago at Lilly. I had lunch with her several years back when I was visiting from California. She wasn't one for Facebook or texting, but she had beautiful hand writing when she wrote me an occasional letter. It was strange that I found one of her old letters with her cell phone and I had tried calling her earlier the same week she died. Condolences to the family!

Joan was a true inspiration of a woman to me. Fiesty, fun, and sharp, she made the most of her life! My condolences to the family and I wish I could be there to remember her with you.

Joan was kind, smart and generous, along with many, we will miss her. A few years ago Ed and I drove over to Laughlin to see her and Dick, and Ill always remember how much fun she was having and how nice it was to be in her company. God Bless. Kathy and Ed Husting
