May 12, 1947 — January 27, 2019

Joe Wiesenfeld, age 71, passed away January 27, 2019 in Palm Desert, California. He was born in Treysa, Germany and grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. Joe made his career in Vancouver, Toronto, and Los Angeles as an award-winning screenwriter for television and film. His career brought him to Southern California in 1989, where he raised his family. He is survived by his wife, Jude, two sons John and Will, and sisters Betty Singer and Rose Snukal. There will be a Celebration of Life for Joe in Toronto on March 23rd for our close family and friends. Please contact the family for details.
