Not sure what to say?

Pam, Mackey, and Mrs. Cabas, Coach will be missed but he left a very positive legacy and I was always proud of my association with him. I remember him saying that he was so proud of the lives he touched. He actually did more than touch the lives of us all: he inspired us to do better than we ever thought we possibly could. He taught us a lot about the winning and losing in life's journey. Thank you for sharing him with us.

A great mentor, fabulous coach and wonderful person, I send my sympathy to the Cabas family.

Dear Pam, Mackey and the Cabas family,
Your dad was not only a big part of my high school life but also had the sports tie with my dad as well before all of that. I loved him as my biology teacher and the sports side goes without saying. Please know you are in my prayers as I know how difficult this time is. I do know that they are both happy and together with so many of our other loved ones.
You all take care.

My sincere sympathies to your family. At 21 I still didn't have my driver's license. Mr. Cabas took me for a few drives and helped build my confidence. A great, kind man.

One of the few teachers I respected! He was a kind and understanding man, with a nice smile, even if he was scolding you!

RIP Mr. Cabas. You where one of a kind.
I remember you as my drivers instructor.

My sincerest condolences in your loss. Georgia Duhan Hopkins, SHS Class of 1969

As we said in the Navy "Fair winds and following seas" to another of my teenage icons. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cabas family.

What a legacy to have touched so many lives...such is the gift (and burden)of a respected and loved teacher, coach and administrator.
