John G. Holt

John G. Holt, 79, died January 5, 2019 in Burbank. Born July 13 , 1939 in Muncie, In. to John M and Iva Pearl Holt. After graduation from Muncie Central High
School, he joined the US Navy for 12 years and received a honorable discharge. He later attended Los Angeles College and earned a degree in business. He was a retired Tax Accountant. He opened his own tax & accounting business in 1976 in Burbank. The business he created is still operating today. His passion for charitable works was fulfilled by his membership 43 years ago to the Burbank Elks Lodge. During his time as an Elk he served in many positions including chaplain and just last year he became the Grand Esteemed Loyal Knight and was installed to that position in San Antonio, TX. He married Adrianne Miller in June of 1978 in Burbank and she survives. Also surviving are his daughters Ramona Holt and Annetta Dodd of Muncie, In. and Son's Kenneth Holt of Muncie, In., Melvin Holt and William Holt of Burbank, Ca. He is also survived by two nephews, fourteen grand-children and twenty-four great grand-children. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother William R. Holt and Son John G. Holt Jr. A celebration of his life will be held at the Burbank Elks Lodge at a later date.
