Jose Flavio Medina

Jose Flavio Medina, 81, was born on October 5, 1939 and passed away July 7, 2021. He resided in Coachella, CA. He is survived by his three daughters, Maria Medina of Menifee, CA, Lorena Medina of Coachella, CA and Lilia Van Ess of Lacey, WA; one son-in- law, Jim Van Ess; eight grandchildren, Yvette Rodriguez, Evelyn Rodriguez, Eric Yanez, Andrew Medina, Brianna Perez, Bianca Araujo, Aaron Van Ess, and Josh Van Ess; seven great grand children, Otto Araujo, Kirsti Van Ess, Jace Medina, Luke Sparks, Brixton Araujo, Clara Jones, and Rowan Araujo. He was a Eucharist Minister at Our Lady of Soledad Catholic Church in Coachella. We would like to thank the ICU staff from JFK Memorial Hospital for their help and support in the care of our father. Services will be held at Forest Lawn in Coachella, CA on Thursday, July 22nd, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. Services will continue on Friday, July 23rd, 202, at 8:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Soledad Catholic Church in Coachella. Burial will follow after mass.
