Kent Joseph Vest, 74, born on April 8, 1947, in Los Angeles, CA, passed away October 7, 2021. He resided in Burbank, CA at the time of his passing. Kent worked for the City of Burbank and retired in 2008 after 38 1/2 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and traveling throughout the United States in his motorhome. His hobbies were golf, remote control cars, and making pens, bowls and bottle stoppers out of acrylic and special woods.
Kent is survived by his wife, Heather, his daughter, Heather Hutson (Justin) and his son Timothy Vest, his two step-children Deborah Babakhanian (Steve) and Daniel Bodley (Michele) and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Beatrice Gilmour. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

I was very sorry to hear of Kent's passing. He and I spent a lot of time in the VDO wood shop in Mesa. He was always fun to be around. I will miss him.
