Lorraine Alvarez

Lorraine Alvarez Beloved wife of Jose Alvarez went to be with the Lord peacefully at home on October 3rd. She was born on January 20, 1954 to Manuel Salais Ramirez and Ramona Torres she was a graduate of Coachella Valley High School where she was active in Glee Club and Drill Team there she met her Love of Her Life Jose Alvarez. After High school she married and attended R.O.P classes in Banking where she obtained her banking certificate and was given a job with Bank of Indio which later converted into California Bank and Trust where she was employed for over 30 years. Lorraine was also active at church at Living Word of the Desert where she loved worshiping the Lord. She Loved decorating for the Holidays and Loving her Children and Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Edward Roy Ramirez.
Lorraine is survived by Her Husband of 46 years Jose Alvarez and Children Desiree Torres, Jose Alvarez jr, Miranda Garcia, and Jonathan Alvarez six grandchildren an two great grandchildren. She will be missed and Forever in Our Hearts. Love you so much Wife, Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandma.
Services will be held on October 17 from 5-9 pm at Living Word of the Desert in Indio ca. and October 18 from 10 am to 130 pm at Living Word in Indio. Cemetery to follow in Coachella.
