Not sure what to say?

When Mark arrived in Columbus to start his career as an officer, he was not shy, and he was very "bouncy" as he walked. He was nicknamed "Tigger" due to his red hair and his bounce, and everyone liked him. A thoughtful man and kind to all. He was greatly missed when he decided to move on. RIP in peace "Tigger"

I worked as a police officer with Mark in Columbus, NE in the early to mid '90's. Mark was a good officer who was known for his friendly, common sense approach to law enforcement. He always took time to stop and talk to people and liked to have positive interactions with the public, especially kids, whenever he could. The local kids called him "Tigger" because of his red hair, energetic disposition and the ever-present bounce in his step. Mark enjoyed the nickname.

I met Mark when He started his career in Columbus, Nebraska on the city police force and where he earned basic law enforcement certification. He was a fun character that befriended anyone and learned more about the city then most for the few years he lived here. He had a quirky personality and loved to just get out and explore. I was fortunate enough to tag along on many adventures with him looking for treasures in antique stores, unique places and meals at the Bohemian Cafe in Omaha. My...

As a transplant from Ohio, Mark befriended me upon my arrival in Alaska. He taught me much about my adopted home state, including many of the “ins-and-outs” of living here. Mark was a nothing but a straight-shooter. He definitely “called it as he saw it” and one always knew where they stood with him.

Mark was guided by a strong moral compass, and he demonstrated a lasting, genuine, charitable compassion for many on the lowest rungs of the socio-economic ladder. His quick wit...

Mark was a champion for good people. He was a compassionate man and a genuine, good Law Enforcement Officer. If he saw a wrong, he would right it. Mark was bad news for bad people and great news for good people. He had a special place in his heart for the lowly and downtrodden . He was an 82ND Airborne Trooper who served our country honorably. I will miss him, a lot. I know I'll see him again on the other side, that is the side the Good Lord has promised us. There's an old saying, only the...

So sorry for your loss prayers healing prayers to your family you will see him again it’s promised I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over your family

Our son was a very special and unique person. After serving in the 82nd Airborne and receiving an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, he began his 26 year career in law enforcement in Nebraska, California, Alaska and Washington State.
He was a loyal and generous friend to a great many people and will be missed by all of us.
