Mary Crouch, age 89 passed away in her home on September 8, 2017. Mary was wife of Paul Crouch (who passed on May 1, 2014) for 58 years Mary is survived by her five children John, Mark, Kathy, Tom and Steve, four grandchildren Stephanie, Jeffrey, Patrick and Kelly and one great grandchild, Emily. Mary lived in California her entire life in the Cities of Los Angeles, Inglewood, Orange and Dana Point. Mary was a graduate of Los Angeles High School and Colorado College with a degree in Zoology. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority.

Her working life included being a laboratory technician at the Los Angeles County Hospital in the Tuberculosis Labratory until she married Paul in 1954 and became a homemaker. After raising her five children she went to Santa Ana College and received an AA degree in Library Science. She worked for 13 years in the Orange Unified School District as a Library Media Assistant. She retired in 1988.

After retirement Mary volunteered in the medical field at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and at Western Medical for 10 years. She also volunteered at Food Distribution Center, English as a Second Language and the HOSTS program at Olive Elementary School. She loved volunteering because it allowed her to stay busy and because it made her feel good!

Her hobbies included stamp collecting, genealogy and doing jigsaw puzzles. She was a very active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

We will miss her spirit and dedication to her family.

The family will hold a private ceremony on September 18. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the charities listened to the left or to a charity of your choice.
