Mary Johnson was born on May 3, 1932 to the parents of Queen Hale and Erving Williams in Memphis, TN. She was the oldest of four siblings, Francis Davis, Joseph and Robert Hale (who processed her in death), and one remaining sibling, Mabel Curl. Mary was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a homemaker with a variety of interest, such as sports, gardening, and sewing. She was also the best cook on both sides of the Mississippi!

She is well known for having an open and welcoming heart, as she provided a warm and inviting environment to everyone who visited. She leaves behind seven children, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a multitude of extended family and friends.

Mary will be missed dearly, but never forgotten, living forever in our memory.
