Many years ago Mr.& Mrs. Allen had a little shop in Buchanan. I always remember how the two of them always had a smile for you and would talk to you and treated you like you was important. To a very young little boy who truly didn't have much this meant the world. Mrs. Allen would always fix my ice cream cone and put a little extra on it. I remember that smile they both had and I would like to say to their children, how blessed you are to have such great parents. They are together now but...

Claire, sending a prayer of comfort and strength your way. Mrs. Allen was so nice. I haven't seen her in awhile, but I enjoyed visiting with her at the nursing home. In case I never told you, I sincerely appreciate you being with us at the time of the passing of my Mother, Helen Bowman.
