Not sure what to say?

Mike and I were friends at Wartburg. He was a great guy and good friend. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

My condolences to the Dohnalek family. I'm an old friend of Mike's and I just found out that Mike had passed. We had many good times together in our younger days,he was always a good friend. He will be missed.

I was so sad to hear about the loss of Mike. He was a good person that was loved by many. I had the pleasure of sharing many fun times with Mike and friends while he was in Sarasota, and he sure did have a way of making all of those around him laugh and have a good time. My heart goes out to all of his loved ones in your time of grief. I am deeply sorry for your loss. May your many good and happy memories of the good person Mike was bring you comfort. He will be greatly missed.

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Mike and I became good friends when he & Cara moved to Sarasota, FL. We spent many weekends cruising the intercoastal waterway on his boat, lounging on beautiful Lido Beach & lazy days by their pool. Mike was very funny and always made us smile. He was kind and generous, loved to dance, loved to laugh and lived the good life. Mike will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his friends in Sarasota. RIP Mikey.

So very sad to hear about Mike passing. He was a good friend and will be dearly missed.

To the Dohnakek Family: So very sorry to hear of your loss. I just found out about Mike today. We played sax together in band. Mike always was fun to be around, and was friendly and kind to everyone. I ran into Mike a couple yeas ago at his store in Marion. His shop was next to my brother's tax business. we had such a great visit reminiscing about high school and caching up. Was so shocked to learn of his passing. His smile and friendliness will be missed in the world. Lifting you all up...

We worked together in Des Moines at WHO-TV. He provided some very entertaining moments. If it wasn't fun, Mike made it fun. Sorry to hear the sad news.

Dohnalek Famile:
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Michael. I worked with Mike at WHO 20 years ago and counted him as a fiend. My God's comfort and grace be with you all.
