Not sure what to say?

I grew up watching Happy The Hobo on channel 55 out of Ft Wayne, Indiana. I loved him and Froggy. I loved the good clean fun Happy did. And then years later when I found him on facebook I got to enjoy his great God given since of humor once again via his many fun loving statuses. He is missed by a lot of people. I will never forget him.

Ella, your Dad is amazing. I used to watch your Daddy's show in the 1970s on Super 55 TV. He would do silly things that made us laugh and forget about sad or difficult things. He was a breath of fresh air and always brought good and wholesome fun into our home. Thanks for sharing him with a world so much in need of love an joy. God Bless you Ella. Your Papa is bringing joy to others in heaven now. May the angels watch over you and your Mommy little one.

I grew up watching Happy the Hobo! He was funny and did really cool things on his show! Loved Froggy's Pad! My aunt worked as the secretary for many years at channel 55, and she was able to get my brother and I onto the show to meet him! My mother went to school with Mike at Huntington North also. I remember her telling us how he was such a "clown" in high school! I am so glad I got to talk with him once he got a Facebook page, to tell him how much he meant to us growing up! I am...

My daughter grew up watching Happy the Hobo. She was able to attend the live show once and competed in a fast talking contest becoming the resident TV star in our house. When Happy had some surgery he rode in a float in the Turtle Days parade and all the children in town dressed in "scrubs" to attend to him. Even indisposed Happy made our children Happy. He will be missed.

To the families and friends of Mike Fry, I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mike holds a special place in the hearts of many and I am honored and blessed to have known him.

I first met Mike when I hired him for an event in Dayton, Ohio back in 1991. I wanted something fresh and new and had exhausted the entertainment in our area. Through my research I discovered Mike and hired him for many events over the next decade. He was the ultimate performer. ...

What a truly special man, to have touched so manys lives. God bless people who have so much to give and make each day of their life count, and spread their happiness to others. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mike will be missed by many. God bless!!
