I'm praying that God will keep and comfort the family of James Abraham during this time of sadness. He was my classmate and a member of the Roberts High School graduating class of 1968. We will truly miss him

Mr. James's Obituary

James Abraham the son of the late James Nicholas Brown and Minnie Lou Abraham was born August 5, 1950. He transitioned to eternal rest on July 28, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Columbia; SC. James was preceded in death by a son Nicholas Abraham and one sister Mary Ann Abraham.

James accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful and serving member of Rock Hill AME Church. James was employed at Husqvarna, for 16 years until he retired.

James was educated in the public schools in Orangeburg County and he was a faithful member of the Marines for two years.

In James spare time, he enjoyed listening to old music, building on old school cars and looking at his favorite football team, Miami Dolphins. James was not only a father, he was a great grandfather, he was a family man who loved his family and showed it in everything he did. He leaves us a great path to follow to be successful in life.

James leaves to cherish his memories a loving best friend of 14 years of the home, Renee Baker, six daughters: Arianna J’Niyah Abraham, Bridget Tanisha Abraham of Rockville, MD, Sharon Guest of Santee, SC, Sharon C. (Troy) Summers, Niasia Baker and Courtney Bowman all of Orangeburg, SC; five sons: Christopher (Chawana) Goodwin of Simpsonville, SC ,James Cornelius (Monique) Abraham of Camden, NJ, Kedron Demetrius (Jessica) Abraham of Aiken, SC, Kendwan (Lisa) Minus of Orangeburg, SC , and Derek Profit of New York, NY. Five sistersAlbertha Abraham, Minnie Abraham, and Jeanette (George Bell-Nelson) Abraham all of Santee, SC; Malqueen (Kevin) Jamison of Orangeburg, SC and Alma Barnes of Holly Hill, SC. Three brothers Theodore Brown, Bernard Brown both of Holly Hill ,SC, and James Brown Jr. of Rocky Mountain ,NC. One God Daughter Braniah Stevenson of Santee, SC and a special friend who was just like a brother, Jeff Jr. Brown and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends.
