Mr. Jordan R.'s Obituary

Jordan DaRaschio Maurice Edwards “JDME” was born December 11,1999 in Flint, Michigan to the parents of Channon Stevenson and Sharod Edwards. He attended Flint Community Schools and graduated from Carman-Ainsworth in 2020 where he participated in the wrestling program and also dually enrolled at the University of Michigan-Flint and was a Kudos Gradate.

Jordan was an active member at worship Temple C.O.G.I.C. where he assisted as a video engineer. His last job was with D.M. Burr Security as a security guard. He was sworn in the U.S. ARMY last year as a PVT in the Special Forces Civil Affairs Division with a Specialty Security Clearance. Due to COVID-19 restrictions in the Army he was unable to fulfill his duties.

Jordan enjoyed being around his family and friends and in his free time. He loved creating beats, writing music and rapping. He was known to play piano at the Flint Institute of Music.

Jordan leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Channon Stevenson, father, Sharod Edwards, brothers, Dimitris, Jr., Jayden, Taron, Sharod II, Alexander, grandparents, Jeanetta Edwards, Christina Stevenson, Maurice (Cynthia) Stewart, great grandparents, Della (Joe) Lewis and Ethel Edwards, plus a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, 1 niece and several friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Calvin Edwards, uncle, Montana Gooch, cousins, Yolanda Hill and Cherish Hill-Renfro.
