Not sure what to say?

To the Noel Griese Family - I am very sorry about your loss of such a loving husband, brother and father. I lost my Dad on February 15, 2012 to Amiodarone Lung Toxicity also. My Heart Goes out to each of you. May God Bless You... Rob Dreher, Pelham, AL

So sorry to learn of Noel's death. Just today I was going to send him an email when I saw the Obituary online. Now Noel won't see my thanks, but I can at least tell his family. Noel brokered a sale of my publishing company (VanderWyk & Burnham) to Angie Quick at Quick Publishing. It was a timed-payment plan, and just last week the final payment occurred. Angie Quick and I have had an excellent working relationship toward this final payment for five years, and I wanted to let Noel know of...

I just read about Noel's passing yesterday, and I was very sorry to hear this news. I worked for Noel many years ago as a writer at Colonial Pipeline, and not only was he a wonderful boss, but just a really lovely person. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work for Noel and get to know him, and I send my condolences to his family.

Noel was the best boss that I ever had. He believed in me and taught me how to write. I attribute any successes that I have had to him. The world was a better place because he was in it. Noel and Kathie are two of my dearest friends. Love you both.

Please accept my condolences to your family. Draw strength from the love of family and friends, and may God comfort your hearts. Isa. 41:10

Noel and I served together in Korea in Company B as Lieutenants during 1962. I remember we were both interested in photography. I have a black and white 8x10 of myself that Noel took and developed. One time, years ago, I was watching the news and saw Noel being the spokesperson for Colonial after there was a pipeline accident. In the last few years we have kept in touch via Email and Facebook. I was blessed to have the intelligent and caring Noel L. Griese as a friend for over fifty years. ...

Noel was a dear friend of mine in college, He was oh-so smart and gloriously kind. Several years ago, we renewed our friendship. Except for adding a few pounds, he had not changed. A magnificent person and I grieve his loss

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dr. Griese was one of my professors at the University of Georgia in the 70's. The class was enriched by his expertise and sharing his adventures in journalism and life. May he rest in peace.
