Paul passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021 in Bellflower, California at the age of 87. He was survived by his wife Lydia Capiral.

He was survived by his 8 children and their families: His son George with his wife Tess in Torrance CA; his daughter Rosemarie with husband Herbert and their 4 children, Terence, Aira, Nicolas and Micah in Torrance CA; his son Paulo Jr with wife Abegail and their 6 children, Sheena, Pauline, Paolo, Val, Claire and Bhria in Carson CA; his daughter Marilen with husband Frank and their 2 children, Kevin and Kirby in Lomita CA; his son Elmer in the Philippines; his son Anthony with wife Kelly and their 6 children Tony, Cody, Britney, AJ, Cassadie and Alexa in Las Vegas NV; his son Noel with wife Sheryll and their 5 children Noralyn, Noel Jr, Kobe, Jasmine, and Johnalyn in Las Vegas NV; and his son Henry in the Philippines.

He was also survived by one daughter from his previous relationship, Arlene Sapanza in Auckland NZ.

He was also survived by his 8 step children and their families: Lydia Plaza with her 2 children, Reichelle and Abigail in Anaheim CA; Aureo Capiral with wife Preci and their 2 children, Precious and Ezra James in Bergenfield NJ and Aureo's son from previous marriage, Godfrey in Ridgefield WA ; Lucy Barredo with husband Danny and their 3 children, Aldwin, Aaron and Angelica in Bergenfield NJ; Nicomedes Capiral with wife Marites and their 3 children, Nico, Marian and Kate in the Philippines; Victoria Peralta with husband Ben and their 2 children, Hannah and Hazel in Browns Mills NJ; Joe Capiral with wife Monica and their 3 children, Nikki, Marie and Loran in East Brunswick NJ; Violeta Amurao with husband Jun and their 4 children, Kokku, Mikki, Yukki and Aiko in Buena Park CA; and Felipe Capiral Jr with spouse Launcelot Capiral in Bellflower CA.

Paul was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather and great grandfather.
