Paula Carol Sykes

Paula Carol Sykes, 73, born on May 27, 1948, in Hartford, CA, United States, passed away August 26, 2021. She resided in Cathedral City, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, California. Paula will be remembered as someone who made a friend everywhere she went. Her beautiful blues eyes and warm smile attracted everyone to her. She was a warm, caring and very conscientious of other people's feelings. She was all about family, fun, food, music and she was an avid reader and wrote poetry. Her two granddaughters were her world and had their back no matter what. Before saying goodbye to those closest to her, she would say, "May God's Angel's Be With You" Paula is survived by her children Max and Rachelle Sykes, her granddaughter's Brittnei and Monique Sykes. Paula was very close to her granddog, Brody, who gave her so much love, support and comfort during the last two years of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to lovingallanimals.org a non profit animal rescue in Coachella,Ca.
