My thoughts and prayers to Kathy and family. I will always remember the summers I spent with Uncle Peter and Aunt Kathy. They taught me valuable life lessons about hard work, being a gracious host, being part of your community and persevering and having a positive outlook through challenging times with their great example. Uncle Peter made a lasting impact on everyone he came in contact with. He will be truly missed.

My sincerest condolences to the Cotter family. Peter was always a welcome participant in the morning coffee conversations at McDonalds. I will miss him and may he rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to the Cotter Family! Peter was a gentle man whom I had the pleasure of knowing these past 14 years and I will hold on to the memory when he became a grandfather in November and Chuck and I were there for this most cherished event!

Rest In Peace Uncle Peter. My condolences Aunt Kathy and family.

It was a pleasure and an honor to work alongside Peter with the Cape Elizabeth Fire/Police. He will be greatly missed.
