We have lost a fine man and a dear friend - Roy & Doreen Ahonen

Ray was such a fine gentleman and dear friend of my folks and their circle of friends. Humble yet accomplished, soft spoken but funny, thoughtful, kind, smart, hard working and generous. May he rest in peace.

Dear [Uncle] Ray,

My relationship to you began years ago when I became involved with the Talaska's and one in particular. (Sorry Ken) About every holiday, many weekends, and later regularly at weekday suppers, you could be found with the family. Your presence was an integral part of the greater clan and a pleasant addition to any setting.

In the community, I saw a man who gave of himself without the need to be noticed. As a professional business man, your reputation...

Our dear Uncle Ray will be sadly missed. His life and example has impacted us in many wonderful ways. We often talk about all the memories, especially the Sunday rides.
