To the family of Rex, I am so sorry to see of his I passing. I knew him when I when I was younger through my family of Mayme Cardoni and her children. Please accept my deepest condolences.

My best fishing buddy ever! He will always hold a special place in my heart. I miss him so much already and will forever be in my thoughts and dreams. Till we meet again Rexy Ill bring liver cuz u always said fish wont bite Michele without liver. Love U!!!!!!

So very sorry to hear of rexs death..you have my sincere sympathy.

I remember ice skating on Grigiski’s pond as a kid and Rex was the daredevil who could jump the line of barrels! Rest in peace.

Rex's Obituary

RIVERTON, IL – Rex N. Antonacci, 70, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born September 14, 1950, to Tulio and Charlotte (Gantt) Antonacci. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Rex was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a jack of all trades. He liked to play slots and throw washers and horseshoes.

He is survived by his siblings, Buddy (Joyce) Antonacci of Springfield, Tony Lee (Ceal) Antonacci of Oakford, Nancy Prytherch and Violet Blose, both of Dawson; many nieces and nephews; and a lot of friends.

Per his wishes, his body was donated to science at Anatomical Gift Association in Chicago.
