Ronnie “Ron” Diaz
Born to Gonzalo and Juanita (Janie) Diaz on May 29, 1968 in Houston Texas
Ronnie Diaz, 52, of Cypress, Texas passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 after a courageous battle with Covid 19.
He graduated class of 1986 from Jersey Village High School. Shortly after graduation, he proudly served four years in US Army - 82nd Airborne in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Ron continued to serve his country for two years in the US Army National Guard in Beaumont, Texas.
After his military service, Ronnie attended Houston Community College and graduated with honors in Medical Radiography Tomography. He worked at various Hospitals and Emergency Room facilities in and around the Northwest side of Houston.
His recent work family was with America’s ER in Cypress Texas.
Ronnie loved a great game of Golf with good friends and family. He enjoyed spontaneous travel with his wife and family.
He was a great drummer and also played guitar and bass. He and his best friend spent many nights jamming and writing music. He loved relaxing in his backyard, enjoying a good IPA beer, listening to music and most of all he loved playing with his grandchildren who lovingly called him “Papo”.
Ronnie was a kind, generous and respected man, he treated everyone with understanding and compassion. When in his company he brought joy, happiness and plenty of laughter. He was always quick with a joke or prank. We will truly miss those special times. While our hearts are broken, we will have comfort knowing Ronnie is reunited with his Dad in Heaven.
All our lives are better for having known Ronnie.
