Not sure what to say?

Our family was together today to honor Ron's life, and share memories of a great man...and cousin. We have many happy memories of childhood birthday parties with our cousins, as well as our annual Halloween get togethers. Those were the days! Ron will be missed but not forgotten. On behalf of my brothers and sisters, our thoughts and prayers are with Ron's family.

I am so sorry for your loss and my deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. I had the GREAT Privilege to work with Doc at Waukee. His knowledge, sense of humor and love of teaching will be greatly missed. Both of my sons were in his classes, and they are now both successful teachers because of his influence in their lives. No one can replace him and there is now a large black hole left in the Waukee community. I pray that knowing how much he meant to everyone and what a wonderful influence he...

I am so sorry for your loss. I taught with Doc at Waukee High School for many years. He will be missed by many of his former students and also by those of us who worked with him as a colleague.

Sorry Della and I cannot make it; but, our prayers are with all of you with our love. Ron was such a great cousin, just as all of you are you. David Matt

We didn't know Ron but in reading his obituary, wow, what an accomplished man. And if he were anything like his brother Dan, what a blessing he was to all. So very sorry for your loss, our hearts and prayers are definitely with you.

Sympathy to family. Thinking of you at this time.

Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Ron, we will miss him talking to us and driving by in his red car. We are neighbors east of Ron.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Prayers to Doc's friends and family in this time of grieving. He was a great teacher, coach, and colleague. He will be missed.
