Ronald K. Webb

Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Uncle to many, Ronald K. Webb, 87, born on March 23, 1932, in Fairbury, Nebraska, and passed away May 2, 2019.

A resident of the Long Beach area since December 7, 1941, Ron attended local Elementary and Junior High Schools and graduated from Long Beach Poly High School in 1950. He joined the US Navy right out of High School where he participated in the Korean Conflict. After his stint in the Navy, he went to work in the freight and transportation business where he worked for the next 60+ years.

Ron was married in 1957 to Virginia Pejchl and they raised their three children in Lakewood where they resided for more than 40 years. After Virginia's passing, he married Carole Unfried of Garden Grove where they lived until her passing earlier this year.

Ron loved to travel domestically and around globe, sing in his church choir, teach bible study, and spreading the word of Jesus Christ. He especially loved watching his grandchildren grow and participate in their numerous activities.

Ron is survived by his three children Sharon (Paul) Norfles, James Webb, and Jonathan (Diana Lovett-Webb) Webb. He is also survived by his beloved Stepson, Chip (Dana) Unfried. He is also survived by his Grandchildren Hayden, Brady, Joshua, Micah, Cindy, Drake, Harrison, and Quinn.

At the time of his passing, he resided in Leisure World in Seal Beach. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.

There will be a graveside service for Family Members only on June 1, followed by a Memorial Service at Long Beach Nazarene Church.
