Rose was an amazing woman. I had the privilege of working with her for 40 years. Always kind, pleasant and willing to help anyone that needed it. I truly treasure the memories and conversations she and I had over the years.
She definitely left her mark on St. Alexis.

Rose's Obituary

Rose Kraft, a longtime resident of Hoffman Estates died peacefully at home on September 17, 2020. She was born 10/May/1929. Rose lived an inspirational life full of optimism. She touched a lot of people through her kindness and beautiful smile. Rose had a loyalty and passion for her duties in the mailroom at Amita Hospital. Her very recent retirement at 91 years old was a testament to her dedication of 40 years at the hospital. Rose and Jack were soul mates and lived a happy life together for 47 years until he passed April 2017. She was a perfect role model as a loving mother full of energy, strength, courage and wisdom. Rose had a strong faith in God and has a special place in heaven that is shining down on us.“WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU A HUNDRED REASONS TO BREAK DOWN AND CRY, SHOW LIFE THAT YOU HAVE A MILLION REASONS TO SMILE AND LAUGH . STAY STRONG!”Rose was the beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Campbell, loving mother of the late Karen (Don) Busch, Steven (Dorothy) Kraft, Debbie Kraft, Christine (the late Paul, M.D.) Lewis. Dear grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and aunt to many. Rose is survived by her brother Erv Spevak (Millie) and her sister Eleanor Russ (the late Les). Rose’s brother, Otto Spevak, predeceased her. Visitation will be held at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 PM, and Monday from 9:00-9:30 AM, followed by services. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Breast Cancer Society.
