Not sure what to say?

Love you Dad!

My prayers go out to you and your family. Sam and I had a good time in The Marine Corps, and he got me the job bartending in the NCO club.He was a kind and gentle person. He will be missed by all.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May your cherished memories help you through this difficult time. God Bless you all.

Hello darlin

To Joann and the entire family of Sam--
There is little anyone can do or say at a time like this to ease your pain. But we wanted you to know that we care; and because we care, your sorrow is our sorrow, too.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Calkins Family,
When I first saw Sam's obituary, I immediately remembered the days when I would join my cousin, Dick Dodd, Cody, Sammy, Larry, and others at the 4H fairs in Ottawa. I also remember Sammy & Jimmy Sons at the tennis court dances in Oglesby. Who didn't remember those guys!!! My Aunt Dorothy & Uncle Ralph Dodd lived on the Ottawa blacktop close to the 2 Calkins families. I sent an email to my cousin Carol Dodd Lynch to let her know. I will be keeping you in...

I know that there are no words that can ease your pain. Sam was a good man and I came to respect and think highly of him in the short time that I knew him. My prayers are with your family. God bless.

In loving memory of my best friend of over 60 years. You will always live in our hearts and prayers.
