Not sure what to say?

Dear Sherry,
So many memories flood over me and the years we spent learning to be nurses. Your singing and piano, and I think most of all you welcoming me into your home that gave this girl a sense of belonging being so far away from my home. May you now rest in peace.
Marilynn Munroe Badzik

Proud to have known Sherry as a nursing school classmate.

I met Sherry when she roomed with Myrna across the hall from Beverly and me as we started our nurses training. We had so many adventures together in those years. She and I did a road trip to British Columbia, she was in my wedding and Chip was the organist. We lost touch but every time we were together at reunions it was as if we had just seen each other. We did communicate by phone occasionally and I last saw her at a luncheon in Riverside to say good-bye to Myrna. I loved hearing...

My heart goes out to you Rich. Sherry was a wonderful friend and sister-n-law. I loved her like a sister. She was one of the sweetest and kindest person I have ever known. I was truly blessed to have her in my life.

My heart is broken at the loss of my dear
Aunt Sherry. Aunt Sherry’s remembrance is from throughout my childhood, adolescence while transitioning into adulthood. Aunt Sherry was a role model (as parents are) in teaching with her wise, fun, joyful and quick witted nature the important beliefs, ideals and values a person should have within the family culture and our society. I fondly remember Aunt Sherry with the many fun weekend visits, birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays...

Grandma Sherry was a shining light to all who knew her, and an idol to her grandchildren. Her spirit will live on through their actions and amplification of her legacy.

My dear sister-in-law you were like a sister to me and I miss you so much. I cannot find the words to express how much you've meant to me. You were always there for me when I needed someone. Always caring and full of life. You had such a great sense of humor. You made me laugh so hard. You were so creative. Your decorations were always outstanding! We shared thoughts and ideas and spent much time talking and "solving the world's problems". I miss your hugs so much!! You will live in...

Lunch at Sea

Sherry was the most incredible sister a part of me! She was always there for me when I had a question or a problem. She loved to cruise and we were fortunate enough to be able to travel with her on a number of cruises. She was quick witted and always a joy to be with. She was a perfect hostess making sure that all was in order and everyone was taken care of. We spent many many times together throughout our life of over 80 years. We had so much fun together and I miss her so much!! She is now...

Grandma Sherry, Grandpa, my mom, and me enjoying brunch at my college graduation in 2018!

Grandma Sherry was pure sunshine to everyone she met, most especially her adoring grandchildren. Her warm hugs reached even the tallest grandkids and offered comfort without fail. Her hospitality at the Ruffell Family "Bar"--where cold Dasani water and ginger ale were always at hand for kids and "grownups" alike--was legendary. Her sense of humor and wit could make us laugh out loud while also prompting deeper reflection. She remembered even the smallest details of our...
