Susan was born on January 14, 1939, in San Juan, La Union, the Philippines, and worked for many years as a registered nurse at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. In addition to her love for nursing, Susan was passionate about her Catholic faith, as well as travel. Susan will be lovingly remembered by the extended Galera and Ramirez families.
A funeral service will be held for Susan at 9:30 AM on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at the Old North Church, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood Hills. Interment will immediately follow the service in the Court of Liberty, where Susan will be laid to eternal rest with her loving partner, Nelson Ramirez, who predeceased her.
