I will always remember Sylvia's smile, her genuine upbeat nature and the excitement she had for the future. Heaven will fulfill all that and more. Keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Sylvia 's Obituary

Sylvia Fae Clark-Hansen, 19, of Wilton, IA, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.

Sylvia was born in Rock Island, IL on September 21, 1998, the daughter of John W. Sr. and Colleen E (Clark) Hansen.

She graduated from Wilton High School in 2017.

Sylvia worked for Hy-Line North America and Dollar General both in Wilton, IA.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir.

Sylvia was outgoing and never met a stranger. She was known for her legendary hugs and her singing and dancing skills. Her patience with children was beyond compare. She was lovingly known as DRAMA QUEEN!

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Wilton, IA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Church.

Sylvia is survived and lovingly remembered by her parents John Sr. and Colleen Hansen of Wilton, IA, her brother John Jr. and his daughter Evaline of Durant, IA, her sister Catherine "Cat" Hansen of Wilton, IA, her grandmothers: Wanda Treimer and Mary Hansen both of Wilton, IA, her great grandmother Jeanine Wacker of Wilton, IA and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. As well as the friends that were chosen as family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and paternal great grandfather.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sylvia Clark-Hansen family.
