Not sure what to say?

I remember Ulysses well...when I visited KNOP as his NBC Affiliate Relations rep I was welcomed like one of the family and made to feel completely at home at the station, North Platte and Nebraska. One of my favorite memories during my 25 years in Affiliate Relations. God Bless Him...the family is in my thoughts and prayers. Oh! and my son and Ulysses are brother Northwestern alums! Peter Flynn, NBC-TV, retired.

Ulysses was a true gentlemen & such a brilliant light in this community. He was always smiling & telling stories or joking in Italian! He had a way about him that made you feel so special! He will be greatly missed!

Carl, Barbara and their family have so many wonderful memories. The operatic voice rings out in our remembrance. Our condolence to all. Carl is in ICU having two valves replaced and wishes we could come but just can't .

I was saddened to hear of Ulysses' passing yesterday. I can't tell you how much he meant to the staff at the North Platte Public Library. He was one of the first businessmen that I met when I moved to North Platte in 1995.

Ulysses always had a passion for learning and reading. The library staff always LOVED it when he came into the library. We never knew what fascinating subject he was going to talk to us about. He would always ask us the most interesting questions or ask us to...

Sending my deepest condolences to the entire family. Mr. Carlini lived such a remarkable life rich in family, music, and laughter. His legacy and many talents definitely live on in all of you.

Dear Carlini Family,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. When I read that UAC had passed away, I was taken back to 1979 when I was first hired at KNOP and met him. Nearly 35 years later, I realize that much of my success in later years can be traced back to many of the things that I learned at KNOP. Most of all, however, I relish the fact that UAC took a chance in hiring me at age 16 and the trust that he placed in me played a large part in developing my self-confidence, which in...

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I was saddened to hear about Ulysses. He was a dear friend, & I always loved hearing Uly speak in Italian. I'll never forget the commercials Uly did for Craven's Pharmacy, they're priceless. Thank you Carlini family for all of the memories. May Ulysses rest in peace in heaven. May God watch over all of you during this difficult time.

All of us at NTV and FOX Nebraska want to extend our deepest sympathies to the Carlini Family. May Ulysses rest in peace in the loving arms of the Lord.

To the Carlini family: I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Ulysses. Living next door to "the Carlinis" while I was growing up made my childhood a wonderful experience. I remember endless summers on Carr Street playing outside and meals around your kitchen table on Sundays after church. Mr. Carlini would set at the head of the table and quiz everyone about the gospel. I can still hear his beautiful voice singing around the house as claudia and I played together. The...
