Not sure what to say?

I served with Vince at the US Army MP School at Fort Gordon, GA in the early 1970's. He was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.

Nelda: I just heard of Vince's passing today. I met him at PMC in 1960. After graduation, we shared many interesting times in Qui Nhon, Vietnam, when he was an MP company commander. Worked on many estates with him as a broker. He was a true patriot and a good friend. Sorry to have missed his funeral. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He always talked of you when we were together. May he rest In peace.

Nelda, I have talked with you since Vince's passing, but we just wanted to add that he was such an outstanding person. He was intelligent, comical, and a pleasure to know. We are sure that he will be missed, terribly, by all who knew him. May God give you peace.
Much love to you.

Nelda:

He was our best buddy and we shall miss him. We must remain in contactand each others prayers.

We love you,

Bid June

I WENT CBHS WITH VINCE,CLASS OF 56-57.WHAT A FANTASTIC PERSON !

Dear Nelda: While we only knew Vincent Gorman briefly through finance matters, we appreciated the silent witness of many years faithful attendance at mass with you as we too are Nativity parishioners. We knew of his military background but realize now in reading of his history, the long service and contribution to our beloved country.
With Respect and Regards,Wm.& MaryTobin

So saddened to hear of Vince's passing. I too describe him as a true gentleman. I had the pleasure of getting to know him many years ago while we were members of the Media Rotary Club. Having not seen him for many years after that, I saw him at a recent First Niagara event and it was like the time had never passed. It was so nice to see him again and have the chance to become reacquainted. May God bless and keep you Vince.

Dear, Dear Nelda,

I'm sorry I was not able to be with you this morning, but I only learned about Vince's passing an hour ago.

I just read some of the messages left here by others who were touched by Vince's life. There are several themes that run through those messages but the theme that jumped out most to me is the word "gentlemen". Vince was a true gentlemen, always ready with a smile and a laugh. He never had a bad word to say about anyone, and would...

A dear man that will be missed. I am glad he was my friend.
lovenly, Susie Cooper
