Violet M. TaylorPendletonViolet Morgan Taylor, 85, wife of the late John D. Taylor died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at her home.Mrs. Taylor was born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Pearl Smith Morgan.She was retired from J. P. Stevens and was a member of Lafrance Church of God.Surviving are two sons, Roger Taylor of Central and David J. (Joan) Taylor of Pendleton; two sisters, Shirley Stewart of Pelzer and Caroline Padgett of Sandy Springs; four granddaughters and ten great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Scott; two brothers, Glen and Jerry Morgan; one sister, Linda Padgett; and one grandson, Dale Taylor.Funeral services will be Friday, November 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or in person at the funeral home
