I'm so sorry for this difficult loss. I truly know how your family is feeling as I lost my father last year around the same time. So glad he got to enjoy his Cubbies!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember and will miss Bill as I look across the street finding him to be working and looking at his prize flag pole,he was so proud of it and for good reason. May you Rest In Peace. My Condolences go out to the Family....He was Truly A Great Man and will be missed.

William J. Smith, age 84, of Villa Park, IL. U.S. Navy veteran Korean era. Past Chaplain, V.F.W. Post #2801, Villa Park. Beloved husband of Arlene nee Weiher for 58 years. Loving father of Suzanne Smith and Kevin (the late Diana) Smith. Dearest grandfather of Laura and Brandon. Dear brother of the late George (Ana), Donald (Dorothy) and Robert Smith. Cherished uncle and great uncle. Visitation on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park, IL. Funeral Saturday November 5, 2016, family and friends to meet at St. John the Apostle Church, 330 N. Westmore Avenue, Villa Park for 10:00 a.m. Mass.
