Not sure what to say?

Hi mrs. Madtes. Traci told me about mr. Madtes' passing. It's been a long time since Muskegon taught club. I still remember everyone getting together from the Lansing area, rafting off each others boats. It's been 35 years since my dad passed away. I always enjoyed those times. I'm living in Florida now. My prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy, Nancy. Always remember the good times.

I send our deepest sympathy for you loss. Remember Happy memories will help you get through these hard times.

Nancy:

In addition to all our great bridge games my best memory of Bill is at our cottage in Gaylord trying to teach us how to wax cross country skis. What a cold week end ! What fun.

Dear Mrs. Madtes,

I was your student at Dwight Rich back in the seventies - I have very fond memories of what a wonderful teacher you were. Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your husband.

Take care,
Niki

I was so sorry to read of Bill's passing. What an active and friendly man! I know that you will miss him.

Bill was a dear friend and sailing buddy to my parents Tim and Jane Goyt. I have many fond memories of beautiful day sails at Lake Lansing and Lake Michigan with the Goyts, Madtes' and others. May the wind now fill your sails always!

Uncle Bill was a unique American. He had many interests that contributed to his interesting life. My favorite memories start with his British Green MG, riding early-version mopeds, visiting Potter Park Zoo, and participating in our family's U of M - MSU rivalry. His positive energy was displayed anytime he entered a room. "Hi guy!" and "Hey gang!" were a couple of his classic greetings. Something so simple that I always looked forward to. I'm going to miss hearing...

WE THANK YOU FOR THE SERVICE AND SACRAFICE MR. MADTES JR. GAVE TO OUR COUNTRY. anonymous
