I am sorry I missed the original notice in the Star Tribune. My daughter, Lisa, alerted me of Dick's passing just today. I am saddened to hear of Dick's passing. I have such fond memories of both Dick and Dee having spent time with them both professionally through Joe's work at KDAL and socially as couples. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. Dick touched so many and will be deeply missed.

May God bless you,

My sympathies to Gail, Rick and Steve. I remember Dick well from the old Lester Park neighborhood. There were always fun parties and parades when we were young, most of them led by my own mother, Aggie Berglund. We had a good time. I also remember how in awe I was that one on my neighbors was a local radio and T.V. guy. Dick was a good guy and will be missed by his family. How sad that so many of those neighbors have now died, including Aggie in 2010, but they left behind lots of good memories.
