Gregory G. Gotsis, 79, June 27, 2011, at Leesburg, FL, formerly of Oak Lawn, IL; Veteran U.S. Marine Corps. Beloved husband of Dorothy M. "Dori", nee Scharven; loving father of Gus (Gail), Steve, Dr. Thomas (Laurie) and Candy (Jeff) Bobrowicz; dear father-in-law of Peggy Gotsis; dearest Papou of Chriss (Marcin) Gostomski, Nicholas, Alexa, Gregory, Bree, Mike, Toree, John, Trace, J.J., Gregg, Katy and Stevie; great-grandpa of Ava and Drake; fond brother of Angeline (late Gus) Goritz, Christine (George) Sallas, Jeannie Xilas and the late Rosie; brother-in-law of Cathy (Louis) Barlock and the late Ron (late Joyce); dear uncle and cousin to many. Visitation at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge, on Friday, from 3 to 9 p.m. Family and friends will gather at SS. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 S. Gus, Gail and family. I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I'm so sorry I could not attend the visitation. Oddly enough,I spent the day at the Villages without knowing of your situation. You are all in my prayers.

Dearest Gotsis family, we are with you in spirit and prayers from Ohio and sharing in your sadness at the loss of Papou-sending a heartfelt warmth and condolence to Dori. Gregg is in our fond memories of our visits over the years and we've thought of him in the very recent years while he and Dori lived away as well.
