Alan Kay Obituary

Mr Alan Kay, of Staveley, has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 83.
A lifelong Staveley resident, Alan was a plater and worked at Markhams for many years, retiring about 30 years ago.
His interests included watching television, holidays, reading, visiting his son and daughter-in-law in Ireland, dancing when he was able and horse racing.
Alan was predeceased by his wife Iris and son Stephen, leaves son Michael, daughter-in-law Bridget.
The funeral service takes place on Friday 19th January, at Staveley Parish Church, at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Chesterfield Crematorium at 12.50pm.
No flowers please, donations if desired to Ashgate Hospice. Colourful or funny ties, scarves, accessories, etc can be worn if desired in memory of Alan's sense of humour.
