Cheryl Otto Irvin



Cheryl Lynette Otto Irvin, 44, passed away unexpectedly, January 1, 2018 in her Beaverton, Oregon home. She was born on February 7, 1974 to Carolyn (Klinker) and Dale Otto in Dixon, Illinois.

She was a devoted and loving mother, daughter, sibling, aunt and cousin. She leaves behind her daughter, Oriana; son, Nickolas; mother, Carolyn; father, Dale (Sue); siblings, Amy Otto, Scott (Theresa) Otto, and Aaron (Mary) Otto; aunts, Donna (Stan), Diane (Jeff); uncles, Ted, Donald; five nephews; many cousins; and friends.

Cheryl moved to New Mexico during her teen years. Her passion in high school was basketball; she played on the varsity team all four years. She loved her job at US Fish and Wildlife and moved to Oregon to continue her career with them.

Cheryl had a kind and giving heart, helping family and friends as she could. Cheryl will always be remembered for her smile and sunny personality.

A celebration of her life will take place at Daniels Funeral Home, 3113 Carlisle NE, Albuquerque on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00 am.

Her interment will take place later in Dixon, Illinois, her home town.

I was saddened to hear the news of Cheryl's passing. She was one of the most professional and customer service oriented Human Resources professional that I have worked with in my 35 year federal career.
