Chavez, Margaret B.
Margaret B. Chavez, 85, born April 10,1931, went to be with the Lord, Saturday December 3, 2016. Margaret was a long-time resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and had been married to Jake Chavez for over 63 years. Over the past 30 years, Margaret had been an active member of Girard Baptist Church, had attended Rio Grande Baptist Church, and was an active part of The Southwest Church Family.
She is survived by her four children, Eddie Lucero, Tony Chavez and wife Lauren, Roberta Gonzales and husband John, and Connie Moberly and husband Gene (JR).
Margaret & Jake had five grandchildren, James Chavez and wife Nichole, Jessica Hernandez, Renée Gonzales with Brandon, Brian Gonzales with Cheryl, and Jacob Moberly with Sabrina.
There are eight great-grandchildren, Tyler and wife Cheyanne, Kyle and Nichelle Chavez, Alexis and Andrew Hernandez, Olivia Ayres, Christopher and Isabella Gonzales, and one great-great-grandchild, Breslin Chavez.
Margaret is also survived by brother Joe Lucero and wife Kyoko and sister Carmen Holguin.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday 4:00 PM at TheSouthwestChurch.org , 4515 Isleta Blvd. SW.Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105. 505-453-1679. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas, 820 Main St. NE (505) 565-1700.
