Rest in peace

I will fondly remember Jay as being unapologetically himself and that is what I really enjoyed about him. A very kind & good person , wonderful sense of humor. I hope the music rocks in heaven

Dear Myers Family,
I can't tell you what an impact Jay has left on this world. I remember him mostly in his black leather jacket and a head full of long, crazy hair. He looked like a tough guy, but had a heart of gold! He was the best friend in the world to my brother, Mark. I kept up with Jay's life through him. Mark was always so proud of Jay and his accomplishments. It started with work and how Jay made a name for himself in construction. Mark worked with him for years, but said Jay was very respected in the company-wow!! Mark told me stories about Jay getting married and having kids-wow!! This was Jay's greatest accomplishment! Mark talked about Jay's beautiful wife and children all the time!! Mark loved you guys so much!!! All the Myers meant more to him than you will ever know! Then I heard Jay started his own successful business-wow!! Who does that and is successful the first time? Jay didn't come back into my life until last summer. He was there to support Mark and I during the time of our dad's passing. He told stories about my dad that had me laughing and crying. Then he supported me through Mark's passing, even though I know he was hurting so bad himself! He was a great strength to me last summer and I will be forever grateful. He was such an unselfish, caring, creative, unique, and genuine person. RIP, Jay! God has you and will comfort you! I pray for the Myers' family to heal from this pain. Jay left behind such a kind, beautiful family to carry on his name. Sending hugs, love, and my deepest sympathy.
