I have just learned of Mike Roe's death. I am so saddened by this loss. Mike and I were classmates years ago. When I saw him at a class reunion, I had a conversation with him that I will never forget. He was an interesting and interested person who had so much to share. There was no pretense or sense of self importance. He had spent his career caring for those who truly needed his care and caring. Unlike many reunion conversations, I hated for this one to end. It would be the first and last time I would see him since we graduated from high school, but he was a classmate deserving of remembrance. My prayers and kindest thoughts are extended to his family.

Mike was one of the most joyous people I have ever known. He had an appreciation for life that was truly infectious. Music was a passion we shared, and even though I did not have a chance to spend time with him recently, I still see him so clearly, singing and playing away, making me and everyone around him feel that same passion and joy that moved him so deeply. Mike, I miss you- you were a blessing to all of us lucky enough to know you! - Mike Linver
