Pedro Fraire Obituary

Fraire, Pedro

After a courageous battle with cancer, Pedro, surrounded by his family, went home to be with his Lord on March 25, 2016. Pedro was born on April 14, 1959 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. He came to Albuquerque in 1984.

Pedro is survived by his wife, Eleanor Chavez; children Pedro Fraire Lujan and wife Monica Arias Vega, Ramiro Fraire, Celia Fraire, Lucia Fraire, step-son Jesus Rodriguez and wife Monica; and his grandchildren, who gave him never ending joy, Estevan, Rhiana, Ciena and Kevin Said; parents Maria Sebastiana Alvarado Garcia, Pedro Fraire Hernandez; brothers, Rosendo Israel Fraire Alvarado and wife Mercedez Guadian, Dante Isamel Fraire Alvarado and wife Brenda Godina, Nicolas Fraire Alvarado, Jorge Fraire Alvarado and wife Elizabeth Gonzalez, Abraham Fraire Alvarado and wife Maira Teresa Jacobo, Gamaliel Fraire Alvarado and wife Laura Madrid; sisters, Sara Frayre Alvarado and husband Armando Ramirez, Maria Del Refugio Fraire Alvarado, Maricruz Fraire, and Eva Fraire; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pedro loved his children and was especially proud of his grandchildren. He loved all kinds of music. He played the guitar, keyboard, and drums and was learning to play the accordion.

Pedro worked for many years at Motorola and Intel and most recently Sears and Presbyterian Hospital. He loved life, a good laugh and spending time with his family and friends. He was generous, optimistic and full of hope and dreams.

Our deepest condolences to my Sister Eleanor, nieces Celia and Lucia and nephews Ramiro and Jesus and wife Monica and great nieces Rhiana and Ciena and great nephew Estevan, Pedro's parents, the family and many relatives, our prayers and love are with you all. I am going to miss Pedro and his funny, sweet, loving and giving spirit and the time we spend together with him as a family. Our family gatherings will have an emptiness without him but there is peace in knowing that he is with our Lord in heaven. Thank you Pedro for the joy you brought to our family, you are deeply loved and you will be greatly missed.
