I worked at Lynn engineering and surveying with Dennis Lynn for many years. Dennis was a great boss and very pleasant to work with. He also had a very nice family all of whom I got to know well. I just found out about Dennis’s passing and wish I could have gone to his memorial service. He was a nice person for sure

Going south as a youth Dennis took the time to employ me. As others my age went to school and operated on a regular basis I was in the office, even if just for a short time. Doing random computer work which was awesome Dennis gave Me purpose for a time. Many years later I found a friend in him while searching the lands of los Lunas hell bent on finding a reason to some of my questions yet unanswered astray from my wife , seeking some deeper meaning to why I felt no bigger meaning or connection to the past and the time I was in Los Luna's... Just about to drasticly fail no gas no way back to Roswell.. I drove my Toyota yaris down chughole lane at 6am and saw Mr. Lynn smoking a cigarette in his back yard I stopped the car at the back gate and we talked... I asked if I could borrow money to get home . He went in and brought out fourty dollars and with the yaris getting 31 miles a gallon the 250 some miles to Roswell was covered.. I went to the now closed Phillip 66 across from the burritos alastante or former little guys... And fueled up and got a pack of smokes... What a huge thing that was for Me that night I was also a huge gambling addict in those days and had gambled all my money and it was hard back then to spend so much even when I would travel. And Dennis took the hard blow of what it was to lose that time and put me back on a road to home. Dennis was totally wow. A senior adult type figure and I don't imagine I'll meet anyone ever like him or his brilliant kids.. Tim and Heather.. Long live Lynn.
