Wallace, Frank
Frank Wallace, age 92 was born on October 25, 1923 in Dawson, NM and a resident of Albuquerque died peacefully on October 12, 2016 surrounded by his daughters and friends. He served in U.S. Army as a Corpral in WWII, 405 Fighrer Bomb Group in the Battle of Normandy Northern France, Ardennas Rhineland, Central Europe Air Offensive Europe. He received the distiguinshed unit badge.
Frank then jointed the NM State Police in 1946 and retired from there.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Onesfora Wallace; sisters Vera Valdez, Lucille Padilla, Alice Padilla; wife, Florence; son, George H. Wallace. Frank is survived by daughters, Donna Dunivan, Anna Lisa Wallace; daughter-in-law, Kenda Wallace; granddaughters, Charity Leetch Aaron); grandson, Daniel (Christie); great-grandchildren, Grace, Sophia, Luke Leetch; sisters, Estella Mares, Ledora Fajardo; brother, Alex Trujillo; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Desert Light Church, 541 Utah NE, 87108. Interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery on October 25, 2016 at 11:15 a.m.
