I am so thankful to have known Susanne. Though she was first my parents' friend (Bill and Susanne, Bev and Bill were very good friends for a very long time), she became my friend. She (and Bill) extended personal and professional relationship to pave my way to happily living and working in Albuquerque for many years.
My first memories of Susanne, Bill, Randy and Julie Ann (sp ? sorry) were in Prairie Village, Kansas, where they and my family lived. Susanne was feisty and opinionated in a way that was new to me. She brought cognizance of the bigger world to family life. She managed both and was a different example of how to be. She marked my life in helpful ways over decades.
To all her brilliant family I extend condolences and love.

I really thought a lot of Suzanne. Enjoyed working with her at the Journal. She was the real deal.
