Yvonne was a dear friend and housemate when we were teaching at ISU in 1962-63. She taught me many things about costuming shows, and was the source of much laughter in my life! I regret not getting to New Mexico to see her these past few years. I still make some of the recipes she taught me as a new bride, and the costumes she made for me to wear in my last show at ISU were the finest I ever had! I have such great memories which I cherish
even more. She was a grand dame!
