I was Chuck's best friend when he enrolled at Bishop Conroy School Ogdensburg NY. He was a great guy and talented artist even then.May he rest in peace.

Chuck taught my brother and I judo when we were young. He taught us to listen, taught us the importance of staying healthy, but he also taught us how to get up after falling, and how to fall without getting hurt. But, earlier than all of that, years and years earlier, when I was just in elementary school, he taught me something that I've held closer than almost anything else--color, doodling, and dreaming. My own corner of the world; a sanctuary of sorts. He might not've really realized it, but he was my first art teacher, and the first to not judge my doodles but encourage them. I doodle and craft a lot now, when I'm sad, when I'm happy; it's time I spend to express things and to clear my mind...it even paid off some bills in college...these were all very important little things Chuck taught me and others along the way, which changed our lives positively forever. Will miss you very much. Thank you for everything.

You were a light in our lives. Your spirit will glow forever.

I first met Chuck when we worked together at Brooks AFB here in San Antonio, TX. We remained friends forever. After he moved back to New Mexico we only saw each other when he would come through here or I would stop on my way out west if only for a day or even a few hours, but we were always together, for that is the way it was with Chuck. Once he was in your life, he was IN your life. To many that seemed strange but not to Chuck. He understood well that the spirit does not have boundries niether in time nor space. And so, he is not gone. He is and will remain where he has always been- in our hearts.
We Love you Chuck
