Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Earl's family. Earl and I attended the Navy's Class A Radar School at Treasure Island, California, in San Francisco Bay in late 1959/early 1960. We were assigned the same ship, the U.S.S. Kawishiwi AO-146 upon graduation from Radar School, and were always good friends. I came home to Douglas, Arizona after my 4 years in the Navy, and Earl stayed in for 20 years or more. Although I never saw him personally after that, we would talk with each other on the phone. He was a great friend and he will be missed.

Joe and Jen Kotan send our deepest condolences to the surviving family of Earl Britton. He will be greatly missed in this town. For those of you who may recall, he used to teach, he served two terms 35 years in the Navy, retired and reenlisted, he designed guidance systems, he played country music and gosple with his brother in retirement homes, he was a wood worker and business man, he also worked on the design and build of the now lost Kids Kingdom. These are just very few things about Earl that will be forever remembered by all who knew him. He was a great man, father, grandfather and much more. May the Fair winds be at ur back and calm seas ahead to you who is now embraced by God and his family in heaven.
