Jeremie Oblak, 36, of Alamogordo, New Mexico, went to be with the Lord on February 10th, 2017. He was born July 22nd, 1980, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deserie Hernandez, and grandparents; Cecilia Valdez, Maria Oblak, and Ernesto Hernandez.
Survivors include: son, Jeremie Oblak Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; father, Gary "Clyde" Oblak of Scottdale, Pennsylvania;
step-father, Steve Gonzalez of Alamogordo, New Mexico; sisters: Delaine Oblak Schmeltz and husband, Brandon Schmeltz of Herminie, Pennsylvania, and Brittany Thompson of Ruffsdale, Pennsylvania; nieces; Haley Morris and Brielle Marsh; nephew, Hunter Schmeltz of Pennsylvania; aunt, Kathy Serna and husband, Marcos Serna of Alamogordo, New Mexico; cousins: Gabriel Serna and wife, Catana Serna of Alamogordo, New Mexico, and Adriana Serna of Alamogordo, New Mexico; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jeremie was a caring father, son, brother, and uncle. He was always concerned about his family's well¬being, known for having a big heart and putting others first. He loved to cook, enjoyed listening to music, and helping others in need, he was one of a kind; always looking to have a good time.
Though we are deeply saddened by the sudden loss, Jeremie left us with many special memories that will last a lifetime. We will miss his smile, laugh, and bizarre sense of humor. He will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. We love you. You are now with your mother. We now have one more angel watching over us. Until we meet again, fly high sweet angel.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25th, at 1:00 PM, at The Gathering Place, 1601 Hawaii Avenue, Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Jeremie's Family,
Sending our prayers & deepest condolences on your recent loss. He is now resting in peace alongside his mom. Heaven has gained another angel to watch over yous. May our blessings & prayers serve as a lil comfort to yous at this time , since we are unable to attend. Praying that as time goes by your pain will lessen a lil each day.

Jeremie's family, may the Lord soothe your heart during this hard time. I knew him in High School, he was definitely unique. He always had a smile that would light up any room. My family is praying for all of you.
