Having John as your 6th grade teacher was like a badge of honor.... Having him as one of your parents best friends was beyond awesome! So many great childhood memories of the entire Price clan. Much love to Betty, Charlie, David and all.

Mr. Price was the model that classroom teachers should emulate. He made certain that we learned what he taught but above all, he taught us to enjoy learning. When friends and I wax nostalgic over boyhood memories, my time as a 6th grader in his class comes first to mind. He was at once at wonderful teacher, a tremendous role model and first and foremost, a good man. Rest in Peace, Mr. Price. You leave a legacy of friends and family grateful for your life and students thankful for you influence.

He was my 6th grade in 1962...strict...but awesome teacher....one day he was a little late coming into class..Lahn Smith and I were dancing around..all of a sudden Mr. Price walked in..picked Lahn up by his collar and seat of his pants...looked at me and said follow me out into the hall....don't remember if we got swats but it still makes me grin when I remember that day....when I ran for City Commission he was very encouraging...He will be greatly missed.
